Recommend me a game with good long-term progression. Something I can really sink my teeth into. Just finished up with Stardew Valley. It was fun for the first in-game year but by summer of the second year I had a wife and a crazy profitable farm and it just got boring. Preferably single-player.

Depends what you're going for I guess? Everything in WoW takes a while to do and I'd consider it a game of long term progression. Especially if you're going for mount and gear collecting

witcher 3 if you have a good computer. I don't know what I could say to sell someone on it but I kind of felt the same as the OP when I was playing. It's really time consuming. Otherwise dark souls series or divinity original sin might be worth checking out
