it's the best gamecube game by a longshot. don't listen to the haters, only reason they don't like it is because they are difficultyfags. the first person aiming makes it easier than the PSOne version. but it's still more fun.

no it doesn't because along with that they put in MGS2 AI, which calls for reinforcements if you just shoot everyone or if they find a body. riot shield fuckers too. and the bodies don't just blink out of existence when you kill someone. in the original you could just run around and shoot everyone with a silenced socom with no repercussions.
the only extra difficulty comes from stiff controls, which isn't a positive. for the record i prefer the original game, but not for gameplay reasons.

I know... my collection isn't complete.
I still plan on getting Ghost Babel, MGS3: Subsistence (So I can get disc 2) MGS Portable OPs+, and Metal Gear Gameboy. I may pick up Metal Gear on NES aswell but to be honest I hate the MSX games. I was glad when I was done with them.
I may get MGS3D just to play it for fun. Is there any point to getting the Legacy Collection if you have HD Collection + MGS1 + MGS4? Any differences?
As for the limited editions for MGS4/MGS Peacwalker/Legacy Collection, that are all priced $100+. I have to just except I missed the boat to get them.
