Unless you did it in really early levels, Blue Sentinels is useless. Darkmoon get summoned rarely in Anor Londo, but that's a big rarely. Usually only with hosts who like having ten people fighting at once.

You'll no longer have the ember'd effect on you, even when you are, and in pvp you'll never have your covenants colors (which to me, defeats part of the purpose for my purple)

Poise is fucking broken. It's really fucking dumb. Like that guy said, there's no reason to wear heavy armor. STR weapons give you hyper armor for some attacks, and everything else is who can get the hit in first. Everyone uses the same 5 weapons, and there's 0 fun to be had. PVP in dks3 is far worse than both the first and second games.

I don't know. I still only own the Japanese version. I have a special place in my heart with DS2. I liked that there was a lot of grinding for items and gear that made it feel more like an RPG. I enjoyed that a lot. I also enjoyed the pvp. It was loads of fun even though it was different from DS2.
I don't compare DS2 to DS1 because they are different games completely. They are good in their own right.

Poise is for when your actually using your weapon, not so that you can just stand there doing nothing and take hits.
The gimmicks aren't enough to make any of the bosses really feel like they stray outside of traditional gameplay like Bed of Chaos or anything like that, but are enough to make every fight memorable and unique, I literally can't think of a single boss in the game I considered bad, even Deacon's which felt like "lets take Prowling Magus and Congregation, the most disgustingly bad excuse for a boss you guys ever pulled out of your ass, and find a way to make it interesting'
