I have never played a Dark Souls game before. Will i be able to play the third game without problems regarding storyline?

You should be able to get into it just fine. I do think you should play dark souls 1 first though. It's still a good game dispite it being a bit older.

There pretty much is no story.
If you play the game you will not really have any idea why you are doing things and who you are killing.
Unless you sit and read item descriptions, and even they are vague 10 word sentences.
Basically it's go kill boss find next boss kill that boss and so on till you beat the game.

Absolutely. 3 is my first dark souls game, you wont understand some of the memes people leave around the world, but the dark souls games have shit story anyways. If you get it, which I recommened, read up on stat softcaps and know what what class you want to get in beforehand. So you wont apend hours on guides learning this stuff, cheers.

I dont think so, DS3 will be pretty alive and well for a long while. DS2 SotFS was still pretty active and well until DS3 came. Hell, go and look at how many people still play 1, even more than the ones playing DS2.

Anyways, while you can play 3 first, I'd recommend you to play 1 before it. Easily the best one in the series, your first time will be the most enjoyable of all.
