That's because everyone seems to think that Jungler is a "win my lane whenever I'm too incompetent to win it myself" role instead of a "roaming objective control role". If you're dumping wards into the jungle, calling pings to warn people of the enemy jungler's location and taking Dragons/Crabs/Buffs when you can, you're doing your job - the ganks are a bonus for when you have the time/positioning/damage to actually get a kill or assist, if you can't do that yet then it's a waste of time to go fuck around with the lanes. Community's only toxic because the game has finally been out for a while. And there's a meta slightly followed due to both Riot patching and Professional level play.
Everyone just kinda expects you to be a pro. Because they see and watch pro matches, they know that kinda thing is possible. So everyone ends up expecting everyone to be the best.

You're the kind of person I would gank for, I can't always scrutinize your lane for the best opportunity to gank, and even if I did nothing guarantees I'd be able to get there in time if I'm on the other side of the map. Little cues like that go a long way to the overall effectiveness of a jungler just by alerting them to opportunities they might not have been aware of.

Because of the Ego, any given player will never blame themselves for the mistakes they made, instead choosing to blame their randomly paired stranger teammates.
Since you're semi-anonymous online, you can rage out at those strangers as hard as you like with little recourse. This is why they implemented Tribunal and are fucking nazis with the report system.
I don't talk to players in-game because of how anal the report system is. If you say a single bad word or comment, you can be auto-banned, muted, or flagged by the system.
For FPS, most of my games aren't that toxic, but some players will be obnoxious to me because they queued with their friend(s), like they're trying to show off or something. It just makes them look retarded.
Another thing to note is that everybody has their own idea of how the game should be played. Your strategy will always end up conflicting with one or more of your teammates' unless you become a cumguzzling bitch.
