It is actually top tier in PvE. Broadsword is light, hit almost as hard as GS(Like Claymore) but it stagger like a GS. You can just R1 with it and win the game.

While on the dragon he does either 2 swings from side to side, a single overhead strike or some lightning bullshit and the dragon throws up some fire.
When he's up in the air he only throws lightning bullshit at you, that you can easily dodge.
Also all the attacks make the dragon lower its head.

Bosses just aren't challenging when you use summons, they have never been balanced to accomodate more than one player. Like what do they do, give them a few more HP? The extra HP are never enough to balance out the increased damage output of 2+ well equipped players and just the fact that one can get the "aggro" while the others are free to wail on them or safely chug an estus destroys any difficulty.

What do you guys think of the murakumo? I've mine at +9 with a refined gem and the sword art+ the heavy attack spinny shit seems to do immense amounts of damage since it doesn't trigger knockdown, just stagger. Also seems to stunlock the full duration in pvp because of how quick it is as well.
People said the boss souls weapons are shit, but if you're doing a heavy build the great shields you can get are great. Absorb around 75% of special damage, minimal stamina drain on block, and all normal damage. I'm doing NG+ and the bosses are getting rekt first try.
They should make it impossible to summon on the first boss because of retards like op.
