I like Wolnir's Holy Sword. The knockback on the weapon art is huge. Pretty sure you get hyper-armour during too.

I found DaS3's Firekeeper essentially a better and more fleshed out version of DeS' MiB. Giving her the eyeschanging the Shrine musicwas awesome and so were both her endings. 10/10 waifu material.

While I found most Faith boss and other unique weapons lackluster (though I haven't tried out Nameless King's spear yet) +10 Blessed gear in both hands (or at your back) and the princess ring gives you very noticeable and constant HP regeneration. They even stack with healing over time miracles, plus the HoT miracle doesn't override Deep Protection buff.

Use talismans with the Unfaltering Prayer weapon art. It casts the same miracle at a slightly higher FP cost, but you get a huge poise increase for the duration of the cast.

After Maria died, likely by slitting her own throat, Gehrman's went batshit with grief and loneliness, he painstakingly replicated her form, called the Moon Presence, which responded since Old Ones are the sympathetic type, and bound himself to the Dream in exchange for bringing life to a lifeless contraption.
Though Gehrman doesn't seem to actually like the Doll. Probably because she doesn't act like Maria, and motherly love wasn't what he was looking for when he made her.
