The interest for me is going back and watching older shows at my own pace and maybe learning a thing or two about how it works along the way. Watching a few new shows every season is also fun, particularly with others.

There's text chat, and voice chat. You can be on both at once, and I don't think there's really a limit on the amount of people allowed in either of these.
It's kinda hard to find a good server, but you can find a bunch with a ton of members if you just go on the discord servers site.
There's even a /v/ server called /v/cord which usually has people texting and sometimes a group chatting. Discord and Chill is a great server.
