I'm no Paradox expert. All I know is the checksum changes randomly and you all have to have the same checksum to play together which means you're going to have to restart and restart until it matches. It makes no sense.

Nah, Paradox is a shitty developer.
Stellaris is going to be an empty DLC coat rack on release that will end up costing $200+ in the end and work like shit for people who do not buy the DLC. Whatever great ideas the devs have will be overshadowed by their greed and poor management of post-release patches and content.
Anybody who has been playing CK2/EUIV regularly, and anyone who played HOI3/Vic2 knows this.

Yeah I figured pubs might be a problem with how long these games tend to end up being. For some reason I wasn't at all expecting to see any sort of formal matchmaking system or what have you, playing with groups of friends just seemed like the obvious way to go about doing this.

I absolutely love the chemistry these guys have, and the dedication to the "theme" of the Blorg have made these streams a real treat to watch each week. Can't wait to see the Friend Ships tear the Just League apart this week.
