He's not wrong though. Xenoverse was a blast, but it was still rough around the edges. Being ranked 5th among what's objectively the most beloved DBZ Fighting games is still impressive. If Bandai ever stops dragging their feet and makes a Xenoverse 2 that improves on the base game, it'd be on a fast track to becoming the very best Dragonball game ever.

I hate fighting games where you level up a character like an RPG.
Plus, the controls in Xenoverse are terible, it had a terible frame rate, and the local gameplay is trash.
The only nice this is that you can create a charecter (which is ruined by having stats paired with clothes) and the unique story.

Faulconer sound track was awesome and so was the ocean dub up until cell saga. But the dubbing quality of the time was shit for both.
Modern funimation dubs of dragon ball kai are best way to watch in english, i finally got used to the original voices so i watch that now and rewatch dubbed later.
But you can't make me unlike the voices and music i grew up with.

I think it still works in context. The original worldline involved Frieza steamrolling through Earth as revenge against Goku, which is totally in-character and fits with the story's progressing tone. Frieza was the most resilient enemy the group had ever faced, so it makes sense that a simple thing like an exploding planet wouldn't stop him from achieving his goals.

I really don't get the falconer had. I get respecting the original track, and I don't hate Kais (I do hate how often it uses the same battle music or is just completely silent other times) but falconer tracks weren't just good because OMG DIS GUITAR RIFF. It worked because they actually took the time to have it fit with what was going on on the screen.
Certain music would play during certain battles, you'd get hyped when you heard your favorite characters theme, and it would be a nice way to identify them.
There's a lot of stuff in Kai that simply doesn't feel as grandiose as it does with nothing playing at all.
I understand people not preferring it but not the amount of shit it gets.

I can understand liking it if you grew up watching Funimations dub on cartoon network and preferring what you first heard
