What? Every two games had a different formula to it.
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Virtual Boy Wario Land played like a fusion of what became the Wario Land staples and Mario traditions through the hat powerups and tiny Wario.
Wario Land II and 3 focused more on exploration and environment puzzles thanks to Wario being made invincible.
Wario Land 4 and Wario Land: Shake It! were focused on precision platforming with mild exploration on the side and less emphasis on transformations and did away with Wario's invincibility. They played very different from how 2 and 3 did.
