ITT - We post actual hidden gems that aren't posted every single fucking "hidden gems" thread that everyone knows about
That game was most certainly not a gem
It was awful
>>334774864
Great fucking game.
It gets so god damn hard towards the end though. At least it did for me, but I was not a faggot and did not metagame or look shit up ahead of time. So I am sure I fucked a lot of things up when leveling.
>>334774864
>>334774942
Well, I liked it

>hidden gem
>there are a finite number of rockets in the game and if you run out you can't finish the game
>skeletons can only be hit by rockets, bullets can't hit them
Solid 7/10
>>334774864
I liked big titty sniper. Too bad i never finished the game. Actually have a lot of unfinished games on 360. Might go back to them one day
>>334774864
that camera made me sick
Every thread until you believe me.
>Game over if any main characters die in the first 4 or 5 missions
>One of the missions has skeletons pop up randomly halfway through the mission
>Eventually just hire some pink beret-wearing fuck to run the missions solo
>He fucking annihilates everything but the skeletons single-handed
Godspeed, Private Oliver Lick. The best damn soldier I've ever seen
Nobody I know has ever even heard of Rescue Shot but it's one of my favourite games
>>334777992
How does it compare to 2?
What ever happened to Shiny?
They made this and Sacrifice and then disappeared.
>>334778184
It's different. I have an encyclopedic knowledge of this series so I'll do my best to explain.
-Instead of raising 1 monster, you raise up to 5 at a time (once you do the main quest that opens up your farm).
-You learn new moves via adventure mode, where you look for treasure and fight 'wild' monsters.
-There are less overall main monster breeds, but but on average, there are more 'detailed' sub-breeds.
-It's a lot easier to get started, but at high levels, it still can be quite challenging.
-There are a lot of extra stats (monsters bond with eachother, for instance, which can give a stat boost if you combine them).
Also, training is different. You set your monsters on a 'schedule,' and then they train with gadgets and exercises you physically lay out on your farm. (If they're tired, they rest.) You have a player character that walks around in 3rd person and can interact with them (praise, scold, feed, item, etc). After that, you go to a 'post training' part of the week where you can go to a tournament, go to a shop, go to an adventure, etc.
Core formula is still there.

Calm down you fucking hipster
>>334774942
Your mother.
>>334778542
I loved this game. I lost my PS1 in a move and now am trying to build back my childhood. Good times
I think a lot of people have played it but Blast Corps is fantastic.
"What if we took Micro Machines, and we actually made it really fucking good?"
It still holds up
>>334780232
This would have been GOAT if it just had saving instead of password bullshit.
It was so fucking strange as well that it used PWs, its like, no other fucking game did.
>>334779368
I've played this. Odd game.
>>334780816
I really wanted to like this game but the gameplay is so stiff. Does it get better?
>>334774864
What an amazing mess it was.
>You get werewolf blood to stop Nazi vampires
>Assemble a team of a witch, frankenstein's monster, two werewolves, jack the ripper, herbert west, and van helsing's granddaughter.
>Fight Hitler in his bunker and kill him after he takes multiple rockets and fireballs to the face
>He gets back up and summons a fucking dragon while restoring his health with the lance of longinous
>After beating him the vampire turns into some bigass angel thing
>also hitler's bunker is a secret option dungeon that spans several dozens of floors
Wish I could play it again though
>>334778542
Is this really hidden? there were so many commercials for it.
>>334780498
Of all the times I've posted it this is the first time anyone else has ever said they've played it.
>>334777153
Is the PSP version or the Wii version better? For the second game I mean.
>>334780232
>sunsoft
I bet this has a kickass soundtrack
Was so good
>>334783193
>>334775089
I really though that game would be a lot more popular frankly considering the high meme potential.
>>334780232

They made two shitty Matrix games on the PS2.
>>334780332
Hidden by how shitty the first game was.
>>334785974
How bad is the first one? I have it in my Steam library from some bundle I've never touched.
Fun game with a top tier soundtrack.

>that boxed tail gator on ebay that went for thousands
Could that be the rarest OG GB game?
>>334785974
There is a ton of ' we got it right this time but already fucked up the brand name' games.
Less so with direct sequels but certainly a lot of good online games that sorely needed update some patches too late
>>334786039
Fucking atrocious, don't even waste your bandwidth
>>334785708
It has one.
Monster Tale
>>334786039
You'll play it for about 10 minutes laugh at how bad it is and just uninstall it. At least that's what I did.
>>334779187
the game had intro movie which tells how world war 2 were started (included the part where Germany formed alliance with Japan) and since Japan deny world war 2 atlus had to make it us only.

>>334780232
Holy fuck, why do I remember this? It looks so damn familiar, but I know I've never heard the name Power Quest before.
>>334785974
What the fuck? They made a second one?
I don't remember if it was good or not, but I remember it beingfun.
>>334788713
THIS!
Tribal Rage
Weird RTS that let you make your own units and lots of other fun stuff set in an absurd post apocalyptical world with cyborgs, amazons, death cultists and elvis impersonator gangs.
>>334788713
i recommend this game
>>334788421
lol, yeah, it has expansion too, and they announced a new one recently, pushing the game tothe new engine or something... not sure check the latest news
Rock'N'Roll Racing on SEGA.
Fuck if anyone even remembers this. But, along with Vikings, it was the best game from Blizzard for me.
Shadow of Destiny
>>334789194
> cyborgs, amazons, death cultists and elvis impersonator gangs.
Sounds like a weird spinoff of Chaos Overlords.
>>334789585
The PSP one was fun until you realize all the missions are the same shit.
If you like Cromartie High School then I recommend The Adventure of Hourai High School. Its flaws are that the combat goes from brutal to press A to win after you get a party going, which in turn means the dozens of amusing combat skills you learn from school clubs are largely useless in the sense that you don't need them at all.
