Sit-down VR like most of the Oculus stuff and the PSVR interests me because it's just a way to make games far more immersive. That shit could work wonders, especially for horror games and driving/flight/whatever sims. "True" walking-around-a-room-using-motion-controls VR that the Vive is championing seems gimmicky and like it would be cool for a little while but quickly get old, much like the Wii motion stuff.
I don't see VR being a major hit like most people expect. Sit-down VR will likely be for diehard gaming enthusiasts only and "true" VR will be a fad at best.
I just want to lay on my bed and watch a 3-d movie. Fuck VR centric games
