Does the enemy have that yellow aura on? I've noticed even compared to real characters, those aura troopers have a TON of defense.
As well, the TP map arranges things in a way that doesn't seem intuitive at first.
The difficulty order is Green - Yellow - Purple - Orange - Blue - Red. You can very easily stumble into the hardest missions of the map early on, if you're too good.

I have both and while I preffer playing the 3DS version, the Wii U one has a lot of nice visual things, graphics obviously but also how the character portraits look a lot better show more, especially with Toon Link, or how you can see the entirety of the adventure map.
Also to anyone playing the 3DS version, is there any way to get a "complete" in adventure mode fairy tab? like with skulltulas or weapons?

Item weaknesses? Don't be retarded.
Elemental weaknesses? Work different on bosses: they don't take more damage, but using the right element on the right boss will deplete their weak point gauge faster.
Dodongo - Water, Gohma - Dark, Manhandla - Fire, Argorok - Lightning, Ganon - Light. Technically The Imprisoned is Light too, but he's hard coded in the Wii U version to never lose more than half his weak point gauge at a time. This was changed for Legends, though.
I don't know the weaknesses for Helmaroc King or Phantom Ganon, but considering the new dogpile mechanic of Legends, I doubt it matters much.

I hate how there's no music selection option in the 3DS version of the game. That's one thing I've always loved about Musou games - the ability to play my favourite tunes while fighting in free mode/chronicles/legends/whatever else mode.

The former, I believe. Using the Gauntlets with Link, for instance, the move where Link punches lightning (his C3) three times tears through Argorok's gauge in just two combos. Hitting with Darunia's magma stone will usually take off half of Manhandla's gauge. Cia's delayed darkness blasts will usually knock Gohma down ridiculously fast if you're attacking when they detonate.

Yes. AFAIK you can only get one fairy per map, MyFairy's fairy, that is. You get them by breaking jars, not taking the keeps, those fairies are different. You can see maps that have fairies in them by pressing Y on map selection screen, look for fairy icon.
