Fantastic gunplay, interesting take on the noir genre.

Only issues I had with it was the slower paced movement and the unskippable cutscenes.

Something you won't see in most recent games:

- Highly skilled technical lead
- Expert senior programmers
- Unrivaled UX team
- Great direction and management putting all the teams together.

Whereas, nowadays games are more about "muh art direction" "muh sales pitch" "muh social advertising" "muh 'innovating' concept"

I tell you, games like this are a dying breed in the industry.

Another fucking shit part about the cutscenes is the framerate. It's so fucking jarring alternating between in-game 60 fps cutscene and 24 fps prerendered one, especially given how many of them are there in the game.

Gunplay/gameplay was what made Max Payne 3 amazing. Story though, meh. 1 & 2's were better, and 2 had Mona.

I hate using this fucking word because of reasons, but Max Payne 3 actually triggered me with Max being addicted to painkillers as I've gone through some shit regarding that. Not in-game shit, but him inhaling pills in the cutscenes

Not much, gameplay was severely hampered by rampant cutscenes. Did we really need a cutscene ever time Max walks out of the room or enemies appear.

If they ever do make another I hope they will cut back on the cutscenes and make them more like the first two.
There is something amazing about old third person shooters, not to say that this one wasn't a great TPS.
