What went so damn right?

Fantastic gunplay, interesting take on the noir genre.
Only issues I had with it was the slower paced movement and the unskippable cutscenes.

over-modeled weapons, smooth animating, sam lake consulting on the script.

Something you won't see in most recent games:
- Highly skilled technical lead
- Expert senior programmers
- Unrivaled UX team
- Great direction and management putting all the teams together.
Whereas, nowadays games are more about "muh art direction" "muh sales pitch" "muh social advertising" "muh 'innovating' concept"
I tell you, games like this are a dying breed in the industry.
Source: I worked on the game as an intern.

>i worked on the game
doubt

Another fucking shit part about the cutscenes is the framerate. It's so fucking jarring alternating between in-game 60 fps cutscene and 24 fps prerendered one, especially given how many of them are there in the game.

You can doubt me, it's ok. There's nothing for you to lose if you trust me, anyways. What would I be losing if I'd be lying? All I'm just giving away is my humble opinion on the "working for industry" experience. Shit has gone awry bad in the recent years, I blame the stupid Venture Capital and fucking executive sharks prowling on studios.

Will there be Max Payne 4?
Rockstar
QB proves they could not do Max Payne as good as Rockstar.

Fuck off, just tell us your name so we can double check on you bullshits.
Gunplay/gameplay was what made Max Payne 3 amazing. Story though, meh. 1 & 2's were better, and 2 had Mona.
I hate using this fucking word because of reasons, but Max Payne 3 actually triggered me with Max being addicted to painkillers as I've gone through some shit regarding that. Not in-game shit, but him inhaling pills in the cutscenes

reminds me of then fist full of frags first came out
>LE 5 MINUTES OF UNSKIPPABLE INTRO AND OUTRO CUTSCENES FOR EVERY SINGLE MISSION

Cutscene at 80% of door opening sequences is worse.

Take a noir game and turn it into Hueland gangsta: the game
>>334659895
Not much, gameplay was severely hampered by rampant cutscenes. Did we really need a cutscene ever time Max walks out of the room or enemies appear.

So how did we go from this

And your surname ?
At least tell us what was your role in MP3, precisely
If they ever do make another I hope they will cut back on the cutscenes and make them more like the first two.
There is something amazing about old third person shooters, not to say that this one wasn't a great TPS.
