It still has the slowdown on hit, although the effect is now affected by distance I think. And I personally am fine with the 20% resistance to EVERYTHING since being alive longer > more bullets

Before the update the Natasha was basically Heavy's version of the Sydney Sleeper. It was supposed to be a support weapon that helps your team deal more damage while you yourself deal less.
The problem is that why would you want that when Stock allows you to straight up kill them instead? So they had to give you more reason to use, thus they made it a survavability weapon instead.

Used to play out of necessity but it was satisfying to help a good team be even better. It's also a treat to get a kill or two.
Once I was gifted a strange medigun just because I did well. Which speaks volume about your typical medics out there considering I did what I felt was normal tactics medics should do.

I remember playing as Engineer, Demo and Medic a lot, so I guess I leaned more towards defense/support rather than brute force (mainly because I sucked shit and still suck shit at the game).
Only time I would go Spy was to hide in the enemy base and spam voice commands while disguised to make the enemy team paranoid.
