The most important difference between those and video games, however, is that all those are passive pastimes. Playing games is interactive and therefore classified as a hobby due to the level of involvement needed. Watching movies or television is not a hobby, neither is listening to music.

It says right there in the post. A hobby is something that takes dedication and interaction. A movie entertains you, it demands nothing from you. Same with music, you don't even have to move or even have your eyes open.
That is the actual, literal description of what a hobby is. It must have physical and mental involvement of some kind, from going out and collecting rocks to writing, singing, juggling, dancing or breeding donkeys to qualify.

the first one was okay but to be real with you it does not have all the great features that borderlands 2 does.
the only way to improve borderlands 1 is to actually have a story and dialogue which was almost nonexistant, graphics update, and all the gameplay features found in 2.

Because a long time ago games were really goid and now we're in the future and they not only managed to un learn everything good avout game design but now we have to endure that and buy the rest of the game, keys for the games, put up with buggy versions of the game on release, make account for the game, be online for the game, play it at a framerate that is perfectly acheivable if they could just shove realisim up their ass and use some style instead. all the while getting told that what we are experiencing is the latest and greatest.
