Always cool to see some Follin posted on /v/. I've loved this track for a long time.
I've been listening a lot to the super-funky Super Hydlide soundtrack recently. The game isn't super-well-loved, but I kinda like it; the good music helps. It's great if you're a lover of FM.

>This better not be the level one music they use in almost all the GnG games.
>it's not
Holy shit OP, this is amazing. I saw some anon in the thread say this is the C64 version of the game, is this from that?

Amiga (Ghouls n Ghosts came out on the C64 too though), by Tim Follin.

Anything Bonk related honestly is gold.

It's the Amiga, I believe.

A lot of the British/Euro computer composers were coming out of the prog-rock scene, or at least heavily influenced by it. We are all the better for it. Even for games like Waterworld. Waterworld!

It's for the Amiga, though I prefer the Atari ST's soundchip. All the music is unique and fucking great.

Wow, that Waterworld stuff is great. I'm amazed I jnever heard it before, since it was composed by Jon Dunn and he's my favorite SID artist.
His songs for the C64 Platoon and the Ocean loaders are phenomenal.

Super/Mega turrican did what I thought was impossible. I liked the Genesis version more than the SNES version.

>Salamander 2
My fucking nigga. The game gets no love; its music is the bomb (especially the Salamander 1 remixes). People need to download that shit on their MAME ASAP.
My favorite from Life Force:

Nice. I just wish Sal. 2 was harder, except maybe the final boss. My favorite Salamander remix is the one in Gradius 3 Arcade:

It's a horizontal shmup where the strongest weapon is your melee, its fun while it lasts an has some nice things like a megaman style stage choosing but it does suffer from being a bit on the easy side.
All in all though its still pretty nice and I'd definitely recommend it.

The song itself is good, but That amiga version was the tits. I don't know what it is, but some anon also posted the atari st GnG song that i don't quite enjoy as much either.
