Why is cs: go so popular competitively when hitscan weapons have rng? at least in competitive tf2 they used to turn off random spread.

Why is everyone excited for overwatch? It doesnt have any draw or lasting appeal.

Waifus and casual super moves. Not even joking. People like it because it has cool effects and flashy gimmicks. The same reason people liked Street Fighter more than Tekken even though the latter was more skill intensive and complex.

Because they think it looks cool, but it's really all flash and no substance.

>quake, unreal tournament, and tf2 have accjracy, but you have to correctly predict where the enemy is going
>cs, bullets and sniper shots have rng spread even when crouched and not moving
>people will defend cs

The post 2013 autobanlist was because items would come out and valve would never fix them for years or months on end and they literally broke the game if used competently. vanilla 6s is better anyway. highlander is the one that's fun without stock weapons.

My question is why do people still think CS:GO is a good game? It's fucking garbage.

The thing about cs is the lack of movement skill and high damage hitscan makes the game inherently broken if the weapons are reliable.

It's damn near impossible for a good player not to land headshots on players moving as slowly as they are in cs if the guns are perfectly accurate.

Games like Quake/TF2/etc can get away with it since players have movement skill so a long range perfectly accurate sniper rifle with an instant kill isn't nearly as good as it is in cs.

Yup. CS doesnt have advanced movement options. Theres basically no bunnyhopping/rocketjumping/surfing
