I haven't played a video game for more than fifteen minutes in a few days. I've either had a book or a pen in my hands instead, it's getting a little depressing but I'm not sure if it's a bad sort of it.

Yeah, i haven't played an actual game in awhile the most I've been playing was this piano tiles games. I've been reading this really intense book these past few days.
Binged 12 straight hours on Dark Souls 2. winding down here now.

Yeah, sometimes they consume too much time or you end up playing them too much or get sucked in. I used to be a huge book nerd till i get an xbox 360 like 5 or 6 years ago. It seems I'm going back to my roots, actually feeling emotions from books.
I wish I gave myself time to read something. It's been so long. I spend too much time either playing games, making music or just aimlessly browsing.

I have too much free time and not enough book. I've read nine books into a series in the space of a couple months, I've got the eleventh here and the tenth is on order.
Not reading that eleventh book is getting to be less and less of a possibility.

I recently read a really good book that's a first in a series and then realised that it was written just recently. How I have to wait till december for part 2.
Fuck me this is worse than tv series. So far I've been spoilt by always being behind the curve and getting into book series that were either complete or nearly so.

Whenever I catch up to a series, book, television, film, video game, it's always after said series is dead, in limbo, or has a dead creator.

Ha! I know how that feels. I'm reading a book series called "The Remaining' and it's so intense i was emotionally invested at certain points. It's done but my friend has been talking about some parts in future books and i have to order each book from the library which takes about a week so spoilers i do not want.
