max level classes often end up playing wayyyyyy differently from when you're leveling it up
I know you're looking for something to shitpost about, but this is actually one of the few good things that has been added to WoW lately.

there are a lot of games of which i simply don't use all features, but choose to pick the ones I like. in an MMO leveling often is a hurdle to even get to the other features.

You can do that now with the PTR. Try any lvl 100 class and then it only takes a day to get it to 100 or buy a 90 boost for what? an hour or two's pay? 90 - 100 takes 30 minutes with an elixir of rapid mind.

Good idea, I always used the PTR to try out other classes
In Vanilla and TBC I played a druid (restoration since it was mandatory) and although I liked it in PVP and even got Gladiator a few times in TBC, I realized I didn't like it in raids because I was missing the whole fight and only looked at health bars
I ended up switching to mage for raiding in WotLK without having properly tried all the other classes yet. It was much more fun but I hated mage in PVP and still kept my Druid for that purpose.
Later I tried warrior and realized I fucking loved tanking AND the PVP with it, and regret having not played a warrior earlier.
I've quit for years now so it's too late but good idea
