I never pass up the chance to call my 50mm Big Iron. My double-barrel shotgun is called The Twin Towers, and my minigun is named Sasha. To me, it's kind of like naming a Pokemon: you build a closer "connection" to it. Makes it a little more fun and intimate to use.

I named them all "MY.... so they were alphabetical in my list and I knew I had maxed out the mods on that weapon so could scrap every other version of it that I got.

I name every melee weapon "FleshRapist ______ Edition"
The Fleshrapist Soulfucker Edition enchanted Ebony Axe got me through Oblivion the first playthrough
In Fallout 4 I named all of my weapons "Assault Rife" and "10MM Pistol" because all the shit that they add to the front of the weapons makes it a fucking nightmare to organize.

Honestly I think they were expecting modders to add to it to make loads of extra parts for the weapons in fallout 4.
Shame the only thing most modders care about is adding Real life weapons with shitty real life things modifications you can add onto them
