I don't even mod games on my PC these days, the reason I didn't get a ps4 was primarily due to the mandatory sub fee for online play, low specs, and most games being multi platform anyways.
Gonna use the dosh I've saved getting a Vive instead.

mods, user optimization, choose when to upgrade, steam's economy system, glorious fucking exclusives, keyboard + mouse, the ability to use a text chat in case you are matched with teammates who live under a bridge, you get to choose what controller you want. xbox, ps4, kb+m nobody fucking cares, multi-function. You can fap and play battlefield simultaneously, even if youre too poor to get a phone (u lazy fuck). super fucking cheap games and constant sales. I have gotten hundreds of games since i started PC gaming and I've probably only spent $250. Pirating is also a perk. While yeah, it can hurt the people who made the game, sometimes you need to try out a game before buying which is where this comes into play. Another thign I like since I used to play COD on Xbox 360 in the glory days, you can use skype or teamspeak or whatever anywhere. dont let cunt devs tell you when you can talk to your team.

Why does it always have to be a choice? I have both and no regrets. Honestly I play the PS4 more, but that might be because of disease. I'm unable to service my computer on my ownit took me nearly four hours to simply put an SSD in an empty slot a couple months ago. The worst part is now I have to pay an outsider to build my machine, which means paying out the fucking ass for parts and labor, but the shittiest thing is out of all my friends, I'm the computer guy. So I can't just ask one of them to put it together for me.
Both have their upsides and downsides. I like them both, and probably will for the rest of my life.

Paying for your own internet connection is pretty bullshit. And having control over content is great. Unfortunately, PC is having tons of shitty multiplats lazily ported over. I'm not saying that the PC doesn't have any exclusive games, but there really isn't much on the horizon right now. I have both devices and the PS4 is just the easier one to fuck around with.

Holy shit aim assist is fucking horrible. I hate it when a game won't give me the option to turn the shit off. The aim assist in Uncharted 3 is so fucking horrible you fight the guns more than your opponents, and you can't turn the shit off. I understand that some people need it, but it would be nice to have the ability to just turn the shit off in the games I'm playing.

PS4's OS is actually not bad at all. It is pretty snappy and does what I want it to do. It doesn't have sixty seven processes that need to be killed off before starting up a game, and that is a big plus for me.

I wouldn't say better each is shit in its own way. But they really can't be compared all that well either. PC hardware can be wildly different from a PS4, so much so that it really shouldn't be in the same category. It's like a tiny boxer fighting Butterbean.
Consoles are better for some, while computers are better for others. Some people don't like to have to deal with the maintenance that comes with a PC, and I don't see a problem with that. I have both devices and I've found great shit to do on both of them. I don't think that will change anytime soon. PC's should be better, but it really fucking depend, since the hardware varies so wildly. The guy with a fucking toaster that can barely run Solitaire considers himself part of the 'master race'.

Mods, this was a big selling point for me considering I loved tes games on console. Really liking openmw right now.

Cool games like sins of a solar empire and kerbal space program. Only exclusives I liked on console was halo anyway. Still thought bloodborne looked really good but at least ds3 is nice.

I can see the benefits to consoles like giving video gaming a bigger market, and it seems easier to connect with friends. But that could be because all my friends are console gamers.
