You can prevent the cast by being at close range at all times. You can do that by making her teleport to where you want her to, so that you start running before she starts showing up.
Alternatively, just run away as far as you can, then dodge to the side. The arrow goes to the edge and then it will return to her. There is like a little visual indication too at the edge.
