Thanks. Not sure why, but I make all my characters usually with pastel pink hair and green or blue eyes.
I made his purple for two reasons, I couldn't get the shade of pastel pink I like and it's more or less a tradition to roll purple hair on my starting character in dark souls.
I kinda do like a roleplay thing where I imagine he's the decedent of my dark souls 1 and 2 characters.
In dark souls 1, my character was pic related but with a purple mullet, named the same as the screenshot I posted. He just looked so happy I couldn't not pick him. All the other defaults looked depressed.
In 2 he was a white dude with purple super saiyan hair and a purple mustache.

Alright every souls game does this shit differently.
What you need to know for das3 though is that you need to look in the upper right corner.
You have a percentage number there telling you how much your current equip takes up from your maximum equipment load
Just keep that number under 70% and that should be fine. If you change equip you can also see how it affects that number.

Equip burden is the percentage of your available equip load being taken up by equips. To fast roll, you have to be right at 70.0% or lower.
Each level in vit grants you another pound of equip load, and the FaP ring and Havel's rinf multiply available equip load by a small factor.

I thought I heard before that it was removed and I was excited to have a fashion souls game again but it looks to me DaS3 is actually the worst game for fashion souls.
I mean you have to make sure to have enough poise appropriate for your weapon and the wolf ring is tons of work so nothing for replays of the game. And you don't get poise like in DaS2.

It's the percentage of damage that is absorbed when you block. If you have a shield with 100% guard absorption then you don't take any chip damage from blocking physical attacks. It's pretty useless for weapons though, if you're two-handing you should just be rolling like a madman.

It has to do with the a bunch of different shit involved in the game universe.
Dark Souls is a series about cycles and Ages. The Age of Fire was unnaturally prolonged by Gwyn after he used his body to rekindle the first flame and keep the Age of Fire going.
The reason why the shrines exist is because they act as a gathering place for Lords of Cinder to ritually sacrifice themselves to keep the fire going. Each one has a Fire Keeper that tends to and guides the Ashen One, somebody that seeks out the Lords and petitions their aid. Incidentally not all cooperate.
Somewhere along the line the process got fucked though. It's implied from the dialogue with your Fire Keeper that the First Keeper saw a betrayal of the Age necessary to continue the cycle for the sake of the "tiny flames in the darkness". She must have shut the first shrine down (Fire Keepers are corporeal manifestations of their bonfire) necessitating the creation of a second.
No idea where the third one came from though.
I'm about to make a new character for my second playthrough.
Reply ending with 3 decides my class, 6 my starting gift and 9 my built.
Before killing the first boss - the frost dog - I saved up 20,000 for the tower key; it was literally the first thing I bought with my money; didn't even level up. Got into that tower and got a hot load of nothing useful.
Now I've discovered that doing that utterly fucks over Siegward's quest line and I can't complete it.
First thing I did was get down that stupid well in Majula with the cat ring and vitality too. At least that had rewards.

DaS1 endings only offer you burning yourself (which leads to DaS2) or becoming lord of the hollows, which isnt referenced at all, so obviously didn't happen.
