I still liked it because it brought a lot of new concepts to the table and the dungeons were good.
TP is still way better though. There may not be much to do in the overworld, but there's still more than Skyward Sword.

i hated it when it came out, i hate it equally now
there is no 'zelda cycle'. it's just that every game that comes out is worse than the last one, and that makes the last one look better by comparison
when the new zelda comes out (presumably after i've finished making a snowman in hell) i'm sure i will look back at skyward sword and go 'well, at least they didn't fuck <insert thing here> up in that game'.
