Why are you guys even on this site? Most of /v/ today was probably born in '97 or '98. A lot of them born even later. I always figured once I hit 21 I'll just try to find real friends or a smaller, saner community to hang out in. This place is nothing but pepe edits and the same handful of arguments played out over and over.

There are a lot of good games out there but unfortunately a lot of my favorite genres get hardly any games anymore or have gone to shit completely.

Didn't have a lot of money as a family but I saved up enough allowance (several years worth) to get a PS1
Couldn't afford any games though, so aside from demo discs in OPM or other magazines the only games I played I rented
Emulators were the shit.

I grew up playing SNES and Genesis games by proxy. Cousins' had them. Both are now casuals and don't like video games anymore. One of them only got into vidya because her neighbors did, and she thought they were cool so she acted like them. I got her little brother into video games. He used to like Nintendo, now he's Sony fan who is obsessed with Dark Souls.

Born in 1986, I have my own business specifically to have time to play vidya.
While modern graphics are amazing, I must say it is all wasted with shitty stories and bad gameplay mostly.
However a few games are good, so those make me feel some kind of hope.
I also stay here cause have nowhere else to go, I am too cynical and anti social to go to forums, plus I am impatient as fuck to await for replies, people here reply in minutes.
