Actually when the devs where doing a launch stream for the 2 re-release they let slip about the 3rd being under way. Back when they where still at vigil (THQ days) it was planned 3 would have 4 player co-op with all horsemen.

The first one was absolutely awesome in every single possible way, the gameplay, the graphics, the scenery detail and the story are absolutely ELDER GODS tier.
The second was also good, not as good as the first once since it turned into an ARPG-esque game a-la diablo with scaled loot and a bunch of other bullshit, it becomes utter shit near the end of the game because rushed content, and the dlcs were forgettable.
The Deathinitive edition of the 2nd one, which is basically a remaster, is buggy and messy, but still enjoyable, and it's free if you already own DS2.DS3 fucking when

People told me this game is like Zelda. I got the first one and so far it feels like one of those really shitty movie games in how the game is built. At what point do I get to travel across a cool world and go to dungeons where I solve puzzles and get new abilities before fighting a boss in each dungeon?
