You used to be able to see the actual number of negative reviews left.
What kikery is this?
who cares, they didn't mean shit either way
Lol that damage control.
mean gamers leave bad reviews and make our games sell poorly ;-;
please think of us hard working publish I mean game developers;-;

>not being able to see the ratio of bad reviews to good ones
>being cool with it
nigga you used to see every kind of number. its not only negative they removed

...and their children! Don't forget to think of them too-diddley -ooh!
>>334283396
Look at all the negative reviews
Look at all the positive reviews
Someone in the middle is the truth.
OP is being a faggot again.
>>334283396
Dog are you retarded? Do a little math.
>>334284750
Damage control has woken up
>thinking that removing an at-a-glance indicator of shitness is good for the consumer
>>334284742
I always knew Hungrybox was a fucking creep
>>334284886
they removed the exact number of positive reviews too, though.
Backpedaling has woken up?

I would never trust a review system where reviews like:
"HAD FUN WITH A MEME 10/10"
"UNINSTALL BUTTON WORKS FINE 1111/10"
have better ratings than elaborated reviews.
>>334285307
The trick is to read only negative reviews and form your opinion from there. When making a purchase hearing what you don't wanna hear is really important. If the negative reviews aren't enough to make you not want the game, get it!
That's how I've done it since steam reviews have been released and I have not been burned on anything.
no sorting by hours on record
>OP can't into math
>>334284886
if anything, the percentage is a better indicator than the raw numbers. seeing "100 negative reviews" on its own doesn't mean shit, what's important is if that's 100 negative out of 5,000 or 100 negative out of 150
>>334285420
The best way to not get burned on anything is to just not play videogames. The trick is to make not enjoying games into a contest.
>implying Steam reviews are worth a damn
>>334286880
5 bucks each
>>334283396
You're right this is fucked, there is no reason to do it other than hiding shitty games.
Doesn't this shit change depending on games?
I know some games just don't show stats of who's playing or stuff like that for the sake of avoiding humiliation.
>tfw looking at Evolve stats
>>334283929
Fuck, if only there was a way to determine the percentage of negative reviews from the amount of positives, and then turning that percentage into a ratio.
>>334289698
FUCK, I forgot to replace my image with bane.
>>334283396
steam reviews are like reading the most boring unfunny redditors try to meme
I fucking hate them
some good games have 95% and then some get 50% because day 1 issues or because some dumb meme
most worthless reviews ever
>>334283396
>create 'funny' category
>the 'most helpful' category is still plagued by sad attempts at unoriginal humor
>>334290360
>guy with 5k hours writes "it's ok"
>3000 people mistake the helpful button for an upvote
>>334290360
the main issue is that you're allowed to select "funny" and "helpful/not helpful". they should all be mutually exclusive
the other problem is that you can't give a game a thumbs up or down without writing a """""review"""""
