First was no bs and a lot felt more challenging, while #2 changed some stuff up there was too many slow parts and annoying chores

Ripto's Rage has the comfiest atmosphere so I'm going with that one
First one. Best level design platforming wise, and I don't really enjoy the mingames. I liked them as a kid but now not really, I just want a nice platformer with clever levels and that's Spyro 1. Spyro 3 stepped up the level design from Spyro 2 but it has too many gimmicks

Yeah spyro 1's worlds were fun to go through, spyro 2's seemed more of just a "this exists so you can reach the minigames".
