some anon said that if you surrounded by multiple enemies including the chainsaw guys to ignore the chainsaw guys because they do the least damage to make the other enemies a priority

Most enemies don't kill me, if it's an actual combat situation.

I kinda liked it.
I always had a thing for games with death animations.
Lara has a kinds of brutal deaths in that reboot.
On a side note, the original DMC had death animations that you usually don't get.
Sometimes if you die to Phantom, they'll eat you, and by half the time you're swallowed, you can hear a snap which sounds gruesome.
Also the Shadows (the black jaguar shadow enemies), will consume you in the shadow as a death animation.
I always thought most of those deaths were pretty brutal, but you usually die to an attack.
So you hardly ever see these animations.

I remember getting killed by the chainsaw guy in 5, and when Chris was about to get decapitated, the camera aimed at the ground.

But only for all the crotch executions. If there is one thing the ESRB hates with a fiery passion it's sex related violence. The AVP remake has the Predator basically caressing the dangling spinal chord of his victim in some executions and that went fine but a cleaver to the crotch and the victim screaming like a retard is a no go.
