Ni no Kuni was the biggest disappointment of last gen by far. But I guess I am to blame, since I expected Level 5 could make another game as good as Dragon Quest VIII. Turns out Yuji Horii was all the talent and Level 5 sucks.

Valkyria Chronicles if it counts. There's really nothing else though that isn't a port.

XIII's battle system was a step in the correct direction IMO. Not saying that was enough to save the game, but it was pretty nice.
