I was watching someone play it and they took like 20 minutes trying to make this ridiculously hard set of jumps up a wall to sequence break a massive portion of the game. When they actually did it, i was sold on the game. Any metroidvania that limits you from fun is garbage, but any one that makes that stuff ridiculously hard is great.
Oh also the whole premise of the game is pretty creative. Metroidvania with bullet hell bosses, bullet hell with vertical plane is odd.

Third party controller tends to lock the stick onto one direction and keep it as if pressed for a while. Makes me go around in circles when I play DaS ou FFXIV for example. If you can "unbreak" the controller be my guest. those Max ranks kinda prove it.

I had a controller die on me in the middle of playing a game last year, it couldn't be played with my hitbox, and I ended up having to play it with a keyboard and mouse (aids), because my other controllers were in storage in my garage, which had a friend's shitty boat in it.

The backgrounds are sweet, level design is way more tight, dodging with invincibility frames is so goddamn nice, and the sprite work for the characters are a hell of a lot more detailed than Rabi, and you can actually tell right from the start if a shot will hit you or not, but otherwise I'd rather give it to Rabi. Both their stories are meh and have really sweet soundtracks
More boss fights, funner boss fights, harder boss fights, standard enemies bring the pain instead of being hp sponges that perform random attacks, no godawful whip swing mechanics that are even worse than Castlevania IV and stick in the most retarded locations where the timing of when you start the entire puzzle is the most important part, double jump is practically the last move you learn, and the big travesty is that Andre the turtle is 10x more fun to play as than Jack.
They're both great games with their own flaws each (they really need to show where your hitbox is on Rabi Ribi one day, yes its your tits but the height and how far back it is seems weird) but as far as time spent and enjoyment I'd go with Rabi. If there's one thing Rabi has over a lot of competition, its how tight controls are and how smooth it is to transition from move to move - you're constantly doing something, you know exactly what you're doing, and everything you do is generally mobile and easy to pull off

It adds two full game difficulties and 3 playable character for boss rush. It also has some playable mission things where you do some silly things, like fighting 2 Cocoa and Ribbon at the same time.
