Terrible game, there is no difficulty and there is one instance where you can get a dead game
The only thing you need to do to win is to beat the same guys over and over again in free duel mode to get the good cards and that's it

I have played a lot of YuGiOh games, and yeah, maybe this wasn't a well made game, but holy shit if i didn't had fun. I had a love/hate relationship with grinding for cards and starships. Easily the game i have played the most untill i started playing arena shooters.
I have been thinking about downloading a brazilian mod for this game. I think it's the perfect kind of games you can play in a cellphone.

the duels are slow and the mechanics are retarded but it has good production values. there's no other game like it afaik

It's the only Yu-Gi-Oh! Game i've ever played and even then i knew it was bad

the brazilian mods are kinda bad for this game, at least afaik
the drop rates are absurdly low (good cards being 4/2048 or lower for s/a tecs)

I spend quite a lot of autism back in the day and eventually I beat the game but man, it's not a good designed game at all. And the funniest thing about it that it doesn't play like yugioh, it's barely even similar.

it was designed before the TCG existed so it was based on prototype rules.
in japan they had a little VMU type thing for the PS1 that worked with the game and let you unlock bullshit card like the ones the ai uses but I think you had to BEAT the game before you could use it so what's the point right.

eternal duelist soul was my favorite, I still play it today but fuck forbidden memories my friend had it and it was near impossible
