Are there any real games similar to SBURB from Homestuck? Basically, in SBURB, one player plays a Diablo-style grinding game and collects currency, while the second player uses that currency in a Sims-like game to build the dungeon that P1 is playing in.

Any games where people play cooperatively towards the same goal in completely different ways?

Undertale fans were originally Homestuck fans when their overlord decided not to update his terrible webcomic for a long time, they decided to move to /v/. Most of those posters are from tumblr and /co/.
