i would've agreed with that had they not call people who oppose to his lifestyle "fools". Foleo as a character is fine, but the game clearly has its own agenda and they uses him to push it.
i prefer the way the JP version handles him, as he is already insecure and aware of others' opinions. he doesn't have this overt " i don't give a fuck what others think" attitudes that most SJWs have. there is a way to convey a good message (not discriminating others) without demonizing the opposing side.

I think that has more to do with western attitude than Sjw if you think about it.
Japanese are more collectivist and care about social mores than the west where people would just say "fuck off" if you don't agree with them.
