Should I buy a PS3 with CFW?
I missed out on its life and exclusives and while the games are dirt cheap now I'm a poorfag who wont pay for them.

For starters, it's the definitive MGS platform, thanks to MGS4 still being PS3 exclusive, not to mention there's that superb MGS Legacy Collection, that has the entire official series (before MGS5) in a single case.
Then there's tons of JRPGs, including the PS3-only Demon's Souls, which obviously spawned the DaS and Bloodborne later on.

I grabbed a non-CFW 120GB Slim back in 2012 for 170€, and it was a damn great deal even back then.
It came with 2x controllers, an HDMI cord, two Guitar Hero sets, and 5 games installed on HDD (GoW3 and some less interesting crap).
All in all, if the deals you've found come with extra accessories and/or games, it's worth it.

For Demons Souls alone you're fucking up the true experience having to play offline, also tons of people still play CoD and BF online on ps3. Unless you really don't care about Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and other games that have pseudo-online gameplay as well as online co-op / multiplayer then go for CFW.

The Slim looks nicer but the Super Slim is more robust and less prone to issues from what I've heard because the disc tray mechanism relays on less mechanics (you can literally just slide the top to the left and take your game out with the console on or off), the SS is also lighter.

What would you consider magic? Like, magic spells and stuff like that? You can turn into alot of forms in Super Mario Galaxy, for example, using things like mushrooms, fire flowers, etc. Idk if you'd consider that "magic".

Weird, I bought a refurbished SS two years ago and have played the shit out of it since then and I've had zero problems. All I've heard is that the Slim and Fat are prone to having their disc insertion mechanic wear out if you're swapping discs constantly and the SS does't suffer from that issues since it basically works like how the PS1 and PS2 Slim worked with discs.

With the ps4 being out, sony finally decided to have good sales on ps3 games and I replaced my stock HDD with my old laptop HDD so in my case even if the disc drive breaks i wont be too fuckedgoodbye DeS save

I had a 500gb ps3 from back then but I recently got a 60gb ps3 from Japan. I got it to 3.55 and had the two cpu thermal paste redon. Put in new 19 blade fan and removed bad psu with more efficient one to improve life time. I've been installing a lot games and its really easy to get free psn games by going to psndl and just downloading the pkg file and rap key.

From an objective standpoint, aside from PS2 backwards compatibility, the Slim CECH-21xx models are the best. Funnily enough, they're also probably also one of the least produced.
Basically, the original slim CECH-20xx models had the revised 40nm Cell, didn't have the revised 45nm RSX. The CECH-21xx was the first model to get the 45nm RSX, and every PS3 afterwards would have it. Why is this important? Basically, better power efficiency and thermal performance. This results in a much lower failure rate and chance of YLOD, and quieter fans. Why is the CECH-21xx the best compared to the ones after? Because it's the last model guaranteed to be able to CFW. However SOME CECH-25xx models will be able to CFW'd. Anything CECH-30xx or after and you're fucked. Slims in general are also going to be quieter than super slims because of their thicker chassis, resulting in greater sound-proofing even though they both share the same chips.

Yeah, even though my CECH-20xx lasted me a while it's started to die lately. I guess I'll get one of the 40nm / 45nm Slims listed on that chart. Still though, I don't know why it died. It was never loud at all. The 40nm / 65nm Slim is probably quieter than the Super slims anyway just because of sound proofing, despite the larger RSX. Perhaps it was too hot inside.

An E3 flasher is a little piece of hardware that clips to the flash chip in your PS3 containing its firmware.
The typical usage is to dump your flash chip, verify the dump extensively, patch it and reflash the patched one.

It's not difficult to do, you just must keep your wits about you.
The most important thing you can do is absolutely 100% certainly make sure you have a good dump from your flash chip before you modify it.
Other than that just be careful and you're fine. In the case of the E3 flasher you don't need to do any soldering, it clips right on to your NOR.

Yes. You'll be able to unlock PS2 software emulation and be able to play a good amount of PS2 games. You'll also unlock PSP software emulation if you'd like to do the same.
Not to mention other cool stuff you can do like ftp files to your PS3, play undubs/hacks and remove stuff you don't like from XMB (like that dumb singstar ad).

If you are careful enough you can access PSN just fine with a CFW PS3. And by careful I mean keep both your CFW updated (matching the current OFW) and whatever the best PSN enabler is out.
I think if you do get banned somehow your PSN account will also be banned, not sure. But I know if you get banned your console ID will be also banned. You can spoof it with another ID and get back online if you'd like.
Word of advice is, don't play latest releases online with a CFW, stuff like the latest CoD and so on. They tend to have a wider eye on those.
