Dream Team looks nicer, but BIS is the better game. Some people would accuse me of nostalgia, but I played BIS after I played DT. And anyone who says SSS is obviously saying that because of nostalgia because the desert bit was fucking garbage. Dream Team suffered from overtutorializing, but there wasn't anything in the game anywhere near as bad as the desert escort.

BiS is extremely fucking good. Played it recently and it still holds up. Still veryfun. Can't comment on dream team
Bowser's Insides > Dream Team > PiT
Haven't played the GBA or Paper one, sorry. PiT is a solid game but I like the other two better.
BiS has way more vore than PiT but PiT still has an area inside of a giant shroob yoshi
BIS is funnier, but it's also pretty short and feels underdeveloped (Bowser doesn't even get a boss arena).
DT looks and plays better, but it has a lot of padding and doesn't stop giving you tutorials until the end of the game.

Funny, I just replayed it myself. Don't get me wrong here, it's still good, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as SSS,PiT (which I played right before it)or barely DT. The mini-games are obnoxious, the world is pretty standard for Mario beyond the first couple areas, the Bowser fights while look call aren't fun and the story isn't interesting in my opinion, even if Fawful is great.
Dream Team has better overworld and gameplay
Play SSS & BiS.
SSS is the best in the series and BiS is the closest we're gonna get to a Bowser game.

Paper Jam actually makes a majority of the tutorials optional now for the most part. Most of the time Starlow will be like "Do you want to learn about this? Yes or No?"

ONLY LUIGI HE DESERVES ALL OF THEM
My Paper Jam play is ongoing(Mt.Brr) but he has more stats than anyone, and almost double Paper Mario's Stache.
And by a lucky quirk, Mario happened to get knocked out before a counterhit killed a boss and got shafted on experience, but Mario already levels -faster- than everyone else and it's starting to even out so that's nice.
Also I like the rank bonus system, shit's rad

I never got the complaint that the bosses were sponges. Aside from the final one, I felt like all the bosses were timed perfectly. Not too short that you feel overleveled; not too long you feel under.
But seriously though, PiT is GOAT of all GOATs.
