>The "sniper rifle" is a fucking mosin
>The fully upgraded version is one that's been shoved in an archangel stock
At least they put in a gun that's likely to actually be in New York.

>>333684428
but, anon, new york doesn't have guns because they're outlawed.
>nyc
>hobo sleeping on bench
pretty good details tbqh senpai
>>333684318
wow
that sure makes it fun.
>>333684318
good grief, they're deforming it in the shape of a bubble instead of inverted cone with an inner concave, it looks so bad it looks like a shader "lens" effect.
the game has pretty neat TECHNOLOGY, can shoot some particle board and break off chunks that you shoot at with an insane amount of bullets
it's a shame it's really not too fun of a game
>>333686050
this is not impressive at all
>>333686492
yeah good technology, taking 30 bullets before dying is good technology
The bar band in Conker's Bad Fur Day has their animations perfectly synced up to the background music. The clarinet player takes breathes when appropriate, and the drummer is in sync with every beat and cymbal tap, even during the brief drum riff or whatever it's called.
I always thought that was a lot of trouble to go through for such a minor background detail, but I enjoy watching them play because of it.

what is this?

how many hit points an enemy has, has nothing to do with technology. you can hate the game but don't be some bitter faggot.

>>333686050
At first that might seem pretty neat until you think about how a thin sheet of aluminum just stopped bullets.
>>333684428
Russia sold them to the US
>>333685012
They aren't. The permits are just expensive as fuck for pistols.

>game that sold the most copies for a ubisoft game and was critically acclaimed
>blundivision
Lol thats so cute
>>333687275
So what are the numbers?
>>333687275
>because how good a game sells defines how good it actually is.
have fun with it then.
i thinks its boring and has way too little variation. the end game is a joke.
>>333687275
Critically acclaimed doesn't automatically equal great. My friends and I maxed out our characters and hit Dark Zone Rank 50 and found ourselves bored as shit.
I'm not complaining about bullet sponge enemies, because I knew going into this that it was an RPG style game. People didn't complain when you didn't one shot an enemy in WoW even though your sword went right through him.
It's a bare bones third person pseudo mmo. We all stopped playing two weeks ago because running challenge mode missions and fucking about in the Dark Zone lost its charm. There was talks about getting back on when the April 12th patch came out, but after looking over the changes and talking about it everyone's reactions were pretty much fuck that noise.
Supposedly Gamestop foresaw massive returns coming due to the uproar from The Division forums and already lowered the trade in value to $23 cash or somewhere around $27 store credit.
It was fun with friends, but what isn't? Seriously don't kid yourself that the game is flawless just because it was critically acclaimed.
I would love for places that buy games back from people such as gamestop to start taking note of how many returns they have for games so that when they go to announce how many they sold they'd also have someone else saying how many were returned. Just for shits and giggles.

Fastest selling Ubisoft game ever
>>333688016
That's not numbers
It looks so like an early PS3 that's not even funny
>>333687974
Don't forget the ridiculous grinding necessary to craft endgame shit and the fact that there is only 1 PvP build as it stands. Seriously, shared D-tech crates and enemies are totally unacceptable, especially with the RNG bullshit. And on top of that the vendors didn't cycle. No thanks, game is and will be a shitshow until the end of this year at least. That's assuming they don't continually butcher everything.
>>333686050
>aluminum sheet metal
>stopping bullets
Lmao

Fuck you for that gif I'm about to go to bed
>had a dream about being a kid again
>adults were trying to kill me and my friends like zombies
>take my knife and jump on a woman's head to slice her throat
>she bleeds pus and starts babbling
>>333684318
You know you get the same effect with all the fucking grass in Black Desert and probably a few other MMOs, if anything they have less detail to do it with because it's an urban environment, few bushes trees, whatever crazy foliage a dev feels like animating reactions to.
Forget how the player count even works in the division, nothing like an mmo as I recall.
It's the little things that make a vidya great.

You mention the crafting grind. Have you by chance seen the crafting changes for the next patch?
Instead of 5 to 1 ratio, they are making it 10 greens for 1 blue, 15 blues for 1 gold and 10 gold for level 31/32 gold mats.
It's even worse of a fucking grind now.
>>333688130
It's also not an accomplishment
>>333690415
How bad does the environment look without motion blur?
>>333691424
Looks fine
Rainbow 6:Siege
Your character tosses an empty magazine on the ground, but will keep magazines if they are still full.
>muh dick
>>333690415
Is that a fucking video game? I legit can't even tell... shit.
>>333684318
it does the same exact effect of walking over grass in Witcher 3. it doesn't actually crumple under the weight of the player it just does a weird distort effect under the players feet.
pretty cool effect nonetheless though
