Honestly you should at least play LttP. Just ignore everything you know about the series and play it as any other video game. Then you can go from there.

They're really not that special. The N64 ones are the only ones I particularly liked. Wind Waker is probably the one I'd recommend going out of your way for even though I personally don't care for it too much

Not that much. They aren't as good as people say they are. The first one is the best of the series and the rest are okay games that aren't too memorable.
