What examples of PC ports are regarded as incredibly good? Like near black magic shit from how great they run.
>Alien Isolation
>DMC4
>Max Payne 3

is there anything else?

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XII

Despite the flaws of the first two they somehow managed to get it right the third time.

It isn't? I've heard it is for some reason

Max Payne 3 has a good PC port? I didn't know this.

Yes it is.

*XIII

It runs surprisingly well on meh computers.

Its plagued by rockstar social club shenanigans but it performs very well

I was impressed by how great Metal Gear Solid V ran for me, especially when compared to, say, Witcher III. Incredibly smooth, especially since my videocard is rather old and prone to crashes, which I didn't experience a single instance of.

Fox engine was a masterpiece.

Hope it gets more use.
>>

I blame Fox Engine

Why did Alien: Isolation perform so well?

Dark Souls II was a really fucking good port.

Fox Engine is nothing less than a work of art. Shame that all it's ever been used for outside of MGS V is soccer and PT (RIP in piece).

Came here to post this. FOX Engine was fucking amazing. Shame every game that runs in it is either unfinished (MGSV) or canceled outright (P.T., Ender's Project, MGS:R)

GTA IV

Mad Max

>xbox controller only prompts
>mouse/kb controls have insane delay unless you switch options
>weapon degradation tied to framerate
>sotfs has deadzones on sticks somehow, when original doesnt

not really, it's OK port, but far from being great. It's certainly better than ds1 shameful port.

I would add Dragon's Dogma to great ports maybe, at least I didn't encounter any problems, dudn't hear much from others and it has most of things pc port should have + supports more than 60 fps.

I'm more so talking about the framerate compared to DaSI.
>>
>>333647086
Really? The game stutters like crazy in towns for me no matter the settings I have it on.
