Just finished my first game and dominated at 15 kills and 2 deaths, idk assists. It is a unique MOBA to say the least.
After you get used to the effects and shitty minimap, you really start to have fun. They need to fix that minimap though it's literally the definition of trash.

The login time was 1 hour apparently. They fixed it so everyone logs in. The queue is like 15-30 minutes. It has a high chance of crashing AFTER a match and you must wait AGAIN. It's a fun game, but this waiting shit is annoying as fuck.

There is gear loadouts which you prepare before going in and buy during a match or mission using shards that you pick up
Then the Battleborn each have ten levels with two choices per level of upgrades

There's gear that upgrades stats and abilities but the way it works is like this.
You can have a loadout of three pieces of gear of assorted rarity. It doesn't apply automatically though. You need to activate it inside of a story mission or a pvp game using currency you acquire during a game called shards. You can only activate them one at a time and the same currency you use to activate them is also used to build turrets and drones on the map. Gear activation scales by rarity and effectiveness so you have to decide what's more important during gameplay. Building turrets which helps the team and gives you experience to get levels or the gear which makes your own stuff more effective.
Other than that, it's got skins and taunts.
