Hello, welcome to the Zelda Museum of Arts.
Today we will be looking at an enduring 5 year-old mystery from the depths of the Forest Temple, commonly cited as the greatest temple in the Zelda series.
Today, also happens to mark the 43rd anniversary of Pablo Picasso's death. So join in if you would like to pay respects or just donate (You)'s to keeping our humble museum running.
First up. We have this enigmatic splotch made of warm hues Some say it looks like the introduction to Majora's Mask when Link is cursed. What do you make?
>>333611082
Is this like an ink splotch test?
I see a butterfly; or perhaps a rock golem.
>>333611082
>random art thrown at painting
>art
For reference to those who have met with an unfortunate fate to not have played Majora's Mask yet, this is what I'm referring to.
Next up, we have this resplendent depiction of what seems to be a gigantic flamingo of some sort. To date though, no such creature has been featured in the Zelda series.
Is this perhaps a reference to the mythical "Banjo-Kazooie," which was considered by Miyamoto as the rival to Ocarina of Time?
Or PERHAPS, it is a reference to something even deeper. There are some who believe a legend that Mozart is still alive. If true, could we be seeing a a ciphered message of sort alluding to the phoenix Pokemon, Moltres?
I will let you decide.

>Banjo-Kazooie
If anything I can make out the red as Kazooie, and maybe Banjo's hand but that's it.
I can't believe the thread theme hasn't been posted yet.

Now as come around the end of the hall we will notice two more magnificent pieces. *fingers cupped, kissing motion*
It's hard to tell what we're looking at, but it appears to be a giant sponge and on the opposite side, some sort of gigantic blue serpent coiled around a tree.
Moving on...

mmmm that's some good 90s
Now we arrive at the end of our tour. Before you are the two paintings we have been able to salvage the most of in our extensive restoration processes.
As you can see, to the left, we have what appears to very well be "Zapdos" performing thundershock, yet another nod at the popular kid's series, Pokemon.
To the left, we see the most mysterious piece in our collection. A giant helmeted skeleton on his knees with a sword half buried into the ground on his right side and a shield, lying against his thigh to the left. Who is this mysterious figure? Could this be none other than the Hero's Shade commonly mistaken to be Ocarina of Time Link?
This concludes the end of our tour.
Thank you for your participation and charity to keep our non-profit facility running.

>to the left, Zapdos
>to the left, Hero's Shade
lol what?
The only lore that matters in Zelda is the Paper Airplane
>>333613335
Hero's Shade Is Link from OoT. That's confirmed on Hyrule Historia
>>333611082
I liked this. Here's a (You), OP.
>>333613578
What does it mean?
>>333613547
Zapdos to the right. Hero's Shade to the left.
>>333613690
How can that be true when Link is staring right at him?
Wow, I actually remember making a youtube video theorizing on that temple's lore when I was 12. My theory is actually mentioned on Zelda wiki now.
>>333613690
That book's not canon though
>>333613849
The airplane is meant to fly, and that makes it happy. But it needs help from a third party to fly. That's clearly a metaphor of life: you can't be happy without other people.
>>333613335
Excuse me, I have a question, mister art man.
>>333613849
It meansLink is dead
>>333614116
But a third party doesn't have to be people.
A draft could pick up and blow away the plane and fly away in happiness.
But who knows when that will happen?
Maybe it's a metaphor for; When you're sad and alone but when you least expect it, something good will come to you.
>>333612271
You mean the real thread theme, right?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6nJysVtCrM
>>333614214
I'm listening?
>>333614474
Could Picasso still be alive?
>>333614336
But the plane is clearly static the whole game.
Maybe it means that when the wind stops blowing and you have no one to pick you up, you should just an hero.
>>333614562
No.
>>333614336
>>333614116
>>333613578
They said in Iwata Asks, it was just one of the art directors sneaking in a paper airplane to be funny and see if anyone noticed.
>>333614880
Well thanks captain fucking letdown.
Why have lore discussions at all?
Every little detail ever, "lol we added it in for the lulz"
>>333614880
>>333614116 here. I know, I was just having fun in a lore thread.
>>333615019
There will be no misleading information on my watch.
>>333614346
>>333611082
Will Lore Bro ever quit as a museum tour guide and become an explorer? I heard the Fire Temple has a quite unique architecture.
>>333615492
I think the Fire Temple was destroyed by extremists, actually
>>333614346
You fucked up, son.
REAL theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FLQ_h_LaqAYou are now nostalging manually.
>>333615956
Oh goood.
>>333615756
>implying it wasn't a conspiracy by the royal family as an excuse to wage war with the gorons and steal their bomb flowers
>>333615956
FUUUUUUUUUUUCK
>>333615492
Oh I already have.
The Fire Temple, which was originally a prison run by the Sheikah, was changed radically by the Gorons however who inherited it later.
Our excavations in Master Quest have uncovered this remnant symbol which predates the common Sheikah emblem of today.
>>333616645
Seriously, man? I say it was that Ganondorf guy. Damn shitskins....
>>333613970
Because Link isn't reincarnated, the heros spirit is.
>>333614562
of course not. he lived over one hundred years ago. there's no way i could still be alive.
Where is the upbeat funky forest feel at?
>>333613335
I'm just waiting for painting Ganondorf to spring out.
