Lets break it down hypothetically.
I'm level 49. I know how to play the game. I'm great at the game. I know all the mechanics of the game, the crafting system, my skill rotation, etc.
I'm one level below max level. However, some 16-year-old who plays games like they're all CoD pays to instantly level cap. He knows pretty much nothing about the game.
We both try to get invited to a group. He gets in because of level cap, I don't. Regardless of better gear or skill. All because he paid to get to level 50, and I can't progress further in the content I can do without a group.
How do you not see that king of situation as a problem for the player base? It also decreases that groups enjoyment of the game when they wipe 30 time because they keep inviting players with max level and no skill. So how is P2W not bad for the community?

I broke my mobo. I've got a level 50 tamer. All in all, I've enjoyed what I've played of it, but I don't like the questing system at all. It's honestly way easier to spam Calpheon dailies for Contribution Points than dealing with fetch quest #250864. I do like the Black Spirit Quests however.
