The ONLY troubling thing I've seen so far is the total removal of inventory tetris, but I'll live. Everything else looks like it only improves upon the original (glad they're reworking combat, honestly the only thing that felt flawed in HR)

Not sure how I feel about melee still being QTEs though, at least now you can do it from cover.

only because combat mechanics have historically been trash in deus ex games. Being able to pick and choose is what Deus Ex strives for, my last playthrough of HR I stealthed past people I felt were innocent and went full nuclear on those that deserved it, definitely my best playthrough yet.

It neither improves nor worsen HR's formula, so I doubt it'll disappoint most people.

Personally, it's VERY disappointing because HR have A LOT of minor flaws that MD won't fix, starting with the fucking time stopping animations and third persona camera, and the villain looks bland as hell. At least they changed the energy system.

Unless you get Icarus dash for free at the start of the game, there is never going to be a scenario in the entire game where you have to use icarus dash to get somewhere

HR operated under the exact same principle, you could stealth the entire game and there was always at least one route that required no augmentations to be viable.

VA in HR was way better than DX. And graphics too (bear in mind DX was behind in graphics even by 2000 standards).

Gameplay for both was around the same. At least HR had very little swimming in it.
