Thinking about start playing Path of Exile again because this Ascendancy class thing looks interesting.
Should I go with Steam version or Standalone?
I'm on steam and updates take unusually long
only a few minutes but it's weird as fuck
downloads in a few seconds then spends a few minutes "downloading" then installing
heard that doesn't happen in stand alone
minor inconvenience though
steam so you see how much hours you've wasted in total.

I went with the standalone but 2 friends use the steam version and have no problems.
Now is a good time to start because the Perandus league throws free money at you with coins/Cadiro deals.
