Skyrim
It tried and failed to be a good spin off while the fanbase waits for a true sequel.
It killed off whatever elements of the original that were still in the series, but it looks gorgeous
The castle setting and narrow corridors were cool I guess
It's got a lot of sidequests and a huge amount of modding support.
Extra hint: The gunplay and combat sucked ass.
