Somehow I don't think so. Not that it's a field filled to the brim with masterpieces though.

Outstanding game brimming with so many amazing ideas and concepts. Also a motherfuck ton of content. Co-op, counter co-op, challenge mode, target practice, death match with bots. The game was a beast.

Now imagine if it got a proper pc port with modding support

No. It has some debatable equals but there hasn't been a better console shooter.

Time Splitters 2 shits all over this it's not even funny

I do miss exploring to complete multi tiered objectives like in goldeneye and PD. Downloading from the computer, placing the tracker bug, blowing up the boxes. Shit was cool
>>
I loved how customizable the matches were with weapon spawns and stuff

Loved the customization options available for multiplayer games, and the objective-based campaign too.

Glad the 360 port improvised the framerate and resolution.

TS2's single player isn't as good though. Missions feel way more linear.

There's a lot more escort missions in Perfect Dark though

Still both excellent for their own reasons

Turok 1 and 2

the timesplitters games come very close

I loved the game, but the native framerate was atrocious on the N64.

The 360 update is the definitive version of the game, as far as I'm concerned. The update was in that nice region of "it doesn't look that different". Then you look at the game on the N64 and realise you had rose-tinted specs on with regard to presentation.

Oddly enough even though the framerate is better on 360, I find the control stick way more fiddly than the N64 one for this game.

The N64 version looks extremely nice in terms of graphics though for its time period. The Chicago level doesn't look that much worse than what you'd see in Deus Ex even though the N64 was pretty old hardware by then.

But yeah the framerate wasn't great at times. Pretty sure the video in OP is running in high-res mode though so the framerate is better normally.
