I liked VJ1 but it's not as good as most of Clover/Platinum's other games imo, and that's due to the combat depth. It's really simple and shallow compared to other cuhrayzee games.

I liked the story and art style but I think it was the gameplay I wasn't so enthusiastic about.
Unlocking stuff as you go through the game made it better but I remember starting from the beginning a lot because I played it a few times a long time apart and couldn't remember the story or how to play.
