Is there a better more consistently great series than the Souls games?
The souls series is consistently all over the place and I wouldn't call any of them great, even though I do like them.

Nah bud, they really aren't. Demons Souls is very very rough around the edges, most of its bosses are one dimensional and shitty, and it was poorly balanced. Dark Souls jumps the shark really hard after anor londo and most of its bosses can be ankle hugged to death, and those that can't are gimmick fights.
Dark Souls 2 is dark souls 2.
All of them have abysmal PvP balance.

If you want to see what a 2/10 game really is like go look at Early Access.
DaS2 might not be the perfect Souls that people hoped it was, and by all rights is the lowest point in the series, but the fact that itstill can be fun to play and people still enjoy it speaks for itself.
DaS2 is a solid 7-7.5 out of 10, and there's nothing wrong with that, don't be one of those faggots who doesn't play a game if it's not a 9 or a 10.
